Gas hydrate blockage is a major issue that the production and transportation processes in oil/gas industry faces. The formation of gas hydrates pipelines results significant financial losses serious safety risks. To tackle flow assurance issues caused by pipelines, some physical methods chemical inhibitors are applied industry. techniques involve subjecting to thermal heating depressurization. alternative method, on other hand, relies injecting into which affects formation. Chemical classified high dosage (thermodynamic (THI)) low (kinetic (KHI) anti-agglomerates (AAs)). Each inhibitor from different perspective. use (thermal depressurization) inhibit studied briefly this review paper. Furthermore, application various THIs (alcohols electrolytes), KHIs (polymeric compounds), dual function (amino acids, ionic liquids, nanoparticles) discussed thoroughly study. This paper aims provide complete comprehensive outlook fundamental principles hydrates, recent mitigation used issue. It hopes engineering platform with ultimate effective for inhibition.
